20th Annual Colonial Christmas

Annual Liberty Tree Lighting Celebration

 Saturday, December 3, 2022

 2:30-5:30pm 


Outdoor Festivities will include:

  • Photos with Santa (free!)
  • Live Holiday Music by The Hickory Tree Chorus
  • Surprise Holiday Pull (see below)
  • Holiday Décor & Poinsettia Sale 
  • Decorating your own Gingerbread Man 
  • Colonial Re-enactors
  • The Liberty Tree will be lit at 5:30 pm following remarks by Mayor Larry Jacobs


The Jacobus Vanderveer House will be open for tours for a suggested rate of $10 per group.


Festivities will take place rain or shine! In the event of rain, all activities will take place inside of the Jacobus Vanderveer House.


All proceeds benefit the mission of the Friends of the Jacobus Vanderveer House, to inform the public of its crucial role in United States Revolutionary War military history by maintaining the restored home, developing the site’s barn and farmstead and operating the museum as an educational resource and community center.
