Volunteer Opportunities

If you love history as much as we do, help us educate others about Revolutionary War history in our own backyard.  Docents are trained to serve as information resources for visitors to the Jacobus Vanderveer House.  They lead guided tours of the house, admit visitors, offer general information, and assist with special events, such as Colonial Christmas and Bedminster Charities Fall Fest, among others. Docent training is offered throughout the year. 

We support schools in fostering a sense of social responsibility in students by providing numerous opportunities for community service.
